For context, I heard someone in college mention that they knew someone who exclusively dates blonds. And my little sister on that same day said that "blond hair was prettier" when talking about hair, saying that she wished she was blond.
Obviously it is all subjective, and doesn't really matter at the end of the day, but I personally never understood it. Because, in America at least, it is a stereotypical sign of beauty, which again, I find weird.
Can someone please explain the obsession with blond hair? It's like the least attractive hair color, and just looks weird lowk. I never will understand why it is considered a beauty standard.
Hair was never meant to be yellow.

just dye your hair idk
ok but bashing on blond hair is reinforcing the same type of standard you're against
It depends on who has the hair color imo. For example, I have black hair, which goes fine combined with my skin tone. But if I had pale skin, lighter hair would probably suit me better.
