tried making a bookmarklet to filter out available namesnipes and i wasted an hour because i can't figure out the $.ajax is not a function error... i already got jQuery and injected it what else does this thing want

presumably there are several different versions of jquery and you need to find the correct one (whatever that is)
or possibly figure out some way to use fetch or whatever that other thing was instead
