at paradock's request, i am going to interview a few mayor campaigns by searching recent posts in %election as well as recent election-related posts. so the list is: souple, whoever the hell xhypptllhyk is, errplane, cole (wait do i know you?), hi, and toby tumbleweed if there are more, please tell me, and if you are electing for 2026, feel free to respond here.

now for the criticism. souple: ads for his darflen client with toggle (will only be annoying if on), a bowl of soup (???), darftube (interesting but high potential to die out), releasing the client early with suggestions from the community (i can't imagine many people using it plus there was an image of a ton of errors), mario will steal your lungs if you don't vote (it's liver + i don't think he will), "minify" all the code from his client if you don't vote (you're coercing people into voting for you? i- no)

xhypptllhyk: i cannot understand you bro, i am not voting for you unless you speak in english or spani- baby you got something in your nooose (just found out that they're trying to speak english but still didn't say what they're doing as mayor)

rrr: change display name (cosmetic and nothing else), change pfp (also only cosmetic), listen to the community (listen to what? you should list specifically what you'll do), elect a co-mayor (do we really need 2)

cole: you said NOTHINGGGG except 👀 and an image with darflen's colors and some random rectangles!

hi: your cat, dog, and alleyway are cool and all, but what are you gonna do as mayor

toby tumbleweed: this is the kind of list i'm looking for because it has somewhat useful things, but why was your account created 2 days ago and why is that your only post? who are you really? i have to at least know you somewhat, and btw that "tumbleweed as mayor" was a joke to say that a nonliving thing associated with nothing would be better than any person

no taking this personally guys i'm a wee lad on darflen and consider this my campaign if you want. idk what a darflen mayor needs to do.
