ATTENTION BLAZERS!
We are here to provide an update regarding the current situation that's happening on the Blaze platform. In case you weren't already aware, Blaze is currently being shut down due to a situation where a malicious hacker has managed to compromise the IP addresses of individuals who made an account on the platform. As we stated in our last post, we will not be making our website available until the situation is fully fixed and the personal data of our users is fully secure.
We are happy to announce that we have been making significant progress towards making Blaze a more secure platform for all users. After a recent inspection by a 3rd party individual who we will not name for privacy reasons, we are happy to report that the personal data of our users have been secure, at least so far. As you will see in the screenshot, we have a receipt proving that we have taken the situation with utmost importance and have made some significant progress towards patching any security vulnerabilities.
However, as amazing as this is, there are still things that need to be done, which means we will not be republishing the site as of yet. We are still inspecting the edge functions, RLS policies, and authentication measures to ensure that both current and future users will not have their personal data compromised.
As of now, the ETA on when the website can return back to normal is 1-2 days. This can change at any time, so it is important that you follow us and stay informed on when everything is fully fixed.

Friendly reminder from an alt account since Kyle blocked me that I did not hack Balze, I am not malicious, I have not leaked anyones IP addresses, Blaze published an update that makes it so if you're signed in, you can only see your data, but if you're signed out, you can see everyone's data. The information I managed to get was grabbed with a SINGLE request to Blaze's API while logged out, revealing everyone's IP (and also how bad the site is). The information was made public by Blaze themselves, and it's probably a good thing I got it and got someone to report it for me (since Kyle has blocked me everywhere) instead of someone else who would like to publish everyone's IP addresses.
@joshatticus: bypassing a block using an alt account is not allowed. you can make a post on your main if you want.
Hello everyone. I would like to address the statement that was made by Josh. Firstly, I did not say that you have leaked it, I just said it was compromised, meaning it could be exposed. Secondly, you are absolutely malicious due to your history of past actions against this platform, including now when you deleted everyone’s posts by hacking into the admin panel to get around authentication and abuse the admin features that only admins should access. Thirdly, I did not attempt to leak anyone’s IP addresses, but I will admit that there were vulnerabilities that existed without realizing, however that does not give you the right to brag about gaining access to the users’ information online. If you wanted to report any vulnerabilities, you could’ve tried to reach out to me via email (@proton.me">contactblaze@proton.me) (you’re not blocked there btw) and I would’ve fixed it immediately and would follow protocol accordingly. But instead, you bragged about it and exploited some of the vulnerabilities that you found. You are not the hero or victim in this case, you are actually the complete opposite. Next time don’t make false statements and twist the truth to fit your narrative. Thank you
