i've used the steam controller 2 for a while now, and i can say it really is a comfortable controller, whether or not you're using the trackpads. now, if you don't have any need for the trackpads or back buttons or grip sensors, i wouldn't recommend buying it (there's already good controllers for cheaper), but if you know you'll make use of it and it'd be worth it for you, absolutely
