Hello, Darfriends! Here's a small announcement. The first part of the community rework is now live! Most of the changes in this update was made for communities moderators and owners.
Join mode has been introduced! You can now control, with more granularity, how people join your community. With the requests mode, it is now possible for people to apply to join your communities.
Post viewing permission has been introduced! You can now limit the visibility of posts in your communities.
New community modes has been introduced! You can create a community where only curated posts are visible in the main community page. More modes will come later, along with possible tweaks to existing ones.
Visibility has been reworked to be simplified and be more role-specific. Private communities will now somewhat show although will less information than a regular community. Invite only has been moved to the new join mode.
Here's some smaller tweaks:
- Moderators can now remove posts from their community.
- Owners can disable communities making it read-only.
- Some UI tweaks has been made in the community main page.
- Added some lists to help moderators handle better requests and invites.
