my dad literally vibecodes for work sometimes lol so I don't think I'm going to have this problem that eagle does except the Facebook part. Facebook sucks. my mom has it. anyway my dad told me a while ago that apparently the older people are the more positive they are about ai. obviously, the older they are the more likely they are to get tricked by it too so that's interesting to me
My parents are getting old and I don't have the heart to tell them they're wrong about so many things. Just now my dad showed me this video on Facebook of one of those light balls that supposedly appear after lightning strikes. It was so obviously AI and he was so amazed and laughing at the comments and all and I was just sitting there laughing awkwardly with him thinking to myself "This is one of the smartest people I know, so many careers and experience and he can't tell?". I'm worried about them, people, cause my mom isn't much better... Edit: She just asked me how she could make her phone screen brighter past the maximum brightness. I think it's time to have a conversation with them.
lucky

it's not really vibecoding since he knows how to really code and is just using it to do it faster and more efficiently. also coding is also not the main focus of his job anyway so yeah
I can hear him in my head saying "it's a tool!! why not use it?" which is pretty much his attitude towards ai
my mom and dad use ai too lol
