people call dogs smart, yet i have only seen them being a bit dumb

i have been in this home for three years now, and these dogs bark at me non stop. even if i make a small noise in my room, they will bark! if i try to walk past them instead of waiting for their barking to end, they will bite me.

doesn’t help that i have chronic migraines, so i come home with a horrible headache and have to deal with them barking..

Depending on the size of the dog, one well placed punt is enough to end any aggressiveness.

this is not what people mean by smart. they mean compared to other animals, not humans

I'd say other animals are quite smart when compared to dogs but dogs do excel in "social intelligence" probably since they've been bred specifically for that for thousands of years

the fact people often say dogs are smart when way too many of them willingly eat the feces of other animals (or their own) 😿 conductor we need to find another word to describe them ☝️😹

vro our dog rolls itself in shirt does it think it's a mop

– jinx (@jinx) posted last month

Dogs do it to clean their environment and not reveal themselves with smells when they feel unsafe. Considering my and so many other dogs never eat poop while every cat is constantly grooming itself that can only mean cats actually eat more poop than dogs.

cats do it to clean themselves but dogs do it because they think it's a delicacy

– jinx (@jinx) posted last month

Cats do the same thing in smaller scale.
